About the Journal

Introduction

Global Nexus Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (GNJMR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal dedicated to advancing knowledge across diverse academic disciplines. It provides a platform for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to share innovative ideas, groundbreaking research, and practical solutions to complex global challenges. The journal emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, bridging gaps between distinct fields to address emerging societal, technological, and scientific issues.

Goals of GNJMR

i. To advance knowledge across disciplines. The primary goal is to provide a platform for high-quality, peer-reviewed research that bridges traditional academic boundaries. We aim to foster a deeper understanding of complex global issues by publishing work that integrates insights from multiple fields.

ii. To promote interdisciplinary collaboration. We seek to become a hub for scholars and researchers from diverse backgrounds to share their findings, methodologies, and perspectives. The journal will actively encourage submissions that are the result of collaborative efforts between different disciplines.

iii. To facilitate the dissemination of research. We are committed to making cutting-edge research accessible to a broad, global audience. This includes not only academics but also policymakers, industry leaders, and the general public, thereby translating research into real-world impact.

iv. To uphold the highest standards of academic integrity. We will maintain a rigorous and fair peer-review process to ensure that all published articles are scientifically sound, ethically conducted, and contribute meaningfully to their respective fields.

Objectives of GNJMR

i. Publish thrice issues annually. We will release three issues per year, each containing a collection of high-quality research articles, reviews, and commentaries that reflect the journal’s multidisciplinary scope.

ii. Establish a diverse editorial board. Within the first year, we will form an editorial board comprising experts from a wide range of academic disciplines, including the sciences, humanities, social sciences, and engineering.

iii. Achieve indexing in major databases. Within three years, we will work toward having the journal indexed in reputable academic databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) to enhance visibility and credibility.

iv. Launch special thematic issues. We will periodically publish special issues focusing on pressing global challenges—such as climate change, public health crises, or technological ethics—to attract focused, collaborative research from multiple fields.

v. Increase global authorship and readership. Through targeted outreach and marketing efforts, we will aim to increase the number of submissions and readers from diverse geographical regions, reflecting a truly global nexus of research.

vi. Implement an open-access model. The journal will be open access, ensuring that research is freely available to anyone, anywhere, at no cost. This will maximize the reach and impact of the published work.
